The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences is one of Australia’s leading faculties in both social sciences and humanities. Research is conducted in the faculties’ five schools and its specialist research centres.
The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences generates research which extends knowledge, engages and informs across a diverse range of areas, and is recognised both nationally and internationally. Many of our researchers are considered leaders in their respective fields.
There is a strong tradition of research collaboration across the faculty and UNSW, as well as nationally and internationally with other researchers and academics, governments, non-government organisations and industry.
